Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

Emotional Freedom Technique (or EFT) is often referred to as “psychological acupressure” or commonly as “tapping”. The technique is said to work by releasing blockages within your body’s energy system, which are the source of emotional intensity and discomfort.  In addition to emotionally challenging us, these blockages in our energy system can be affected or caused by our limiting beliefs, behaviours, fears and trauma.

People may display either emotional and or physical symptoms that can include lack of confidence and self esteem, feeling anxious, or show signs of compulsive and addictive behaviours. Emotional disharmony is seen as a factor in the physical symptoms associated with disease.

An EFT session involves using the fingertips rather than needles to tap on the end points of energy meridians that are situated just beneath the surface of the skin. The treatment is non-invasive and works on the ethos of making change as simple and as pain-free as possible.

Current sessions are carried out by an EFT Accredited Practitioner. Treatments can be conducted either in person or via Skype.

EFT is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice and is not intended to be relied upon for medication or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider if you have questions regarding a medical condition. Never disregard medical advice or delay in seeking it. No claims are made as to the efficacy of EFT in treating any condition. Results may vary from those stated.
